According to China's media Yangtse Evening Post, a photo recently taken at a subway station has garnered attention on the Chinese internet.
The photo was taken at a subway station in Jinan City, Shandong Province, and what was captured in it was a "black panther" accompanied by a passenger. Baring its fangs and with an expression that looked as if it would attack at any moment, upon closer inspection, it had wheels on its legs. In response to this, the view that it might be a "suitcase" was put forward, and from netizens, while voices of admiration like "If it's this realistic, it must be really expensive, right?" were heard, concerns and questions such as "Wouldn't it startle other people?" and "Is it even allowed on the subway in the first place?" were also raised.
Regarding this matter, a reporter from Yangtse Evening Post, acting "as a consumer," inquired with Jinan Metro Customer Service, and the person in charge responded, "A passenger brought in a suitcase modeled after a black panther a short while ago." Furthermore, to the question, "If other passengers purchase the same suitcase, is it allowed onboard?", after checking with the station staff due to its appearance and decoration, they replied, "It is allowed if it meets the size and weight standards for large luggage."
However, they reportedly called for caution, stating, "As the black panther shape might startle other passengers, please handle it appropriately when carrying it."
