The world's first embodied AI robot equipped with a fully domestically produced electronic architecture has debuted.
On September 28, a launch event for an embodied AI robot was held in Yichang City, Hubei Province, central China, where the world's first robot equipped with a fully domestically produced electronic architecture was officially unveiled.
The electronic architecture can be called the "nervous system of intelligence" that determines the upper limit of the robot's overall performance, and consists of an OS (basic software), network, tool software, AI computing chips, etc. According to insiders, this Chinese-made electronic architecture can separate and collaborate control systems and AI computing systems, building a fully Chinese-made technological foundation that supports everything from AI decision-making to the execution of physical actions. It is said to provide a technical option that can completely replace foreign-made systems.
When testers from the National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center conducted technical verification of the robot, under conditions such as joint damage, cyberattacks, or virus infiltration, robots using conventional electronic architectures experienced circuit malfunctions, sudden shutdowns, or loss of system control. In contrast, robots equipped with the fully Chinese-made electronic architecture passed rigorous safety tests and maintained safe operation. This reportedly demonstrated that the architecture possesses capabilities such as real-time control, rapid response, fault isolation, defense against cyberattacks, and system security.
