Recently in China, it was reported that Louis Vuitton won a lawsuit concerning the infringement of registered trademark exclusive rights by Chinese tea beverage chain 'Moli Naibai.' Moli Naibai was founded in 2021. In 2025, it was sued for trademark infringement on the grounds that its logo closely resembled the four-leaf clover pattern within Louis Vuitton's iconic 'Monogram' design. The Suzhou Intermediate People's Court of Jiangsu Province recently recognized the infringement by Moli Naibai.
Meanwhile, according to Chinese media such as Modern Express, while the Moli Naibai case became a hot topic, information regarding court sessions from the Qinhuai District People's Court in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, also garnered public attention.
According to this information, in 2025, Louis Vuitton filed a lawsuit concerning trademark ownership and infringement against a catering company in Nanjing, a duck blood vermicelli soup shop in Qinhuai District, and one individual, with a hearing held in June of the same year. When this information was released, speculation spread among some internet users that 'the sued duck blood vermicelli soup shop might be Nanjing's "Huiwei Duck Blood Vermicelli Soup".' Huiwei, in a social media post on the 4th of this month, denied the rumor that it 'was sued by Louis Vuitton.'

According to Chinese media Changjiang Cloud News, Louis Vuitton has already registered various floral pattern trademarks across all categories in China. Changjiang Cloud News stated its view that 'although Louis Vuitton has not directly entered the catering industry at present, it has made clear its stance of strictly protecting its floral designs.'
