Taiwanese model and actress Lin Chiling (林志玲) appeared at Shanghai Disney Resort's 10th-anniversary event on the 15th.

Shanghai Disney, the first Disney Resort in mainland China, opened on June 16, 2016, and its "10th Anniversary Birthday Celebration" has been held since March 20 this year.

Regarding Lin Chiling, last month Chinese media reported that her appointment and subsequent resignation as a director of the Taiwan Creative Content Agency, an administrative corporation under the Ministry of Culture of Taiwan, "provoked heated discussions among internet users on both sides of the Strait." On the Chinese social media platform Weibo, while some negative comments were heard regarding Lin Chiling's appearance at the 10th-anniversary event, voices of welcome also arose.

In a video post by an entertainment blogger titled, "The person who suits appearing at Disney the most has come to Disney. Sister Chiling is truly beautiful," comments such as "Truly a princess," "Even Disney princesses would step aside in the face of this aura," and "Does Lin Chiling really not age? How does she take care of herself?" were received.
