The romantic drama "Ai Qing You Yan Huo," starring Tan Jianci (檀健次) and Wang Churan (王楚然), will begin broadcast and streaming in China on the 15th.

"Ai Qing You Yan Huo" wrapped up filming in July 2023, and nearly three years have passed since then. This spring, news of its imminent release surfaced, and recently, preview videos and still photos were successively revealed. It was then announced that the drama would begin broadcast and streaming on the 15th via state broadcaster China Central Television (CCTV) and OTT services Tencent Video (騰訊視頻) and iQiyi (愛奇芸).

The 36-episode "Ai Qing You Yan Huo" centers on heroine Qian Fei (Wang Churan), who is abandoned by her fiancé after jointly purchasing an apartment and being on the verge of marriage, and then faces layoffs, falling to rock bottom. She coincidentally begins living with Li Yifei (Tan Jianci), a hidden rich man. Through work and daily life, the two grow closer, foster love, and achieve their respective career goals in this coming-of-age story.

The long delay in its release is reportedly due to allegations of tax evasion and other issues against Zhang Haowei (張昊唯), who played the heroine's ex-boyfriend. For this release, Li Xinze (李欣澤) was newly cast, and replacement and re-editing were carried out using AI technology. (Mathilda)
