China has become a net exporter of industrial robots for the first time.
It was revealed in the "Digital China Development Report (2025)" announced by the China National Data Bureau on the 8th that China's industrial robot exports in 2025 increased by 48.7% year-on-year, surpassing imports for the first time, making China a net exporter of industrial robots. People's Daily Online reported.
According to the report, as of 2025, China's complete robot manufacturers exceeded 140 companies, and over 330 models of humanoid robot products were announced. Furthermore, the production of industrial robots increased by 28% year-on-year, and the production of service robots increased by 16.1% to 18,581,000 sets.
