Recently, widespread price adjustments have begun in China's domestic humanoid robot industry. Many top brands have significantly lowered the selling prices of their new products, with high-end products that once cost tens of thousands of yuan (500,000 yuan = approximately 11 million yen) gradually entering the 10,000 yuan (approximately 240,000 yen) price range.

The current wave of price reductions covers two major areas of robot products: industrial/commercial and home/science education. The price of household models from Noetix Robotics (松延動力) is less than 10,000 yuan with subsidies, and many general-purpose humanoid robots from Unitree Robotics (宇樹) are priced at 29,900 yuan (approximately 710,000 yen). The prices of mainstream industrial robot models have fallen by more than 40%. Commercial robot rental fees have also significantly decreased compared to last year, with some falling by nearly half.

Industry insiders explain that the establishment of a localized supply chain is a major factor driving the price reductions. Core components such as reducers, servo motors, and main control chips, which account for 70% of the overall machine cost, have largely been replaced by domestically produced goods, leading to a significant drop in component costs. The industry has fully utilized the mature industrial chains of new energy vehicles (such as EVs) and home appliances, sharing common components like power batteries and vision sensing modules, which has significantly reduced research and development costs for new parts.

Furthermore, mass production is also reducing the per-unit cost for manufacturers. Top manufacturers have successively put automated mass production lines into operation, with an annual production capacity reaching 10,000 units per factory. In the coming years, there will be room for further reductions in manufacturing costs as the industrial chain improves, and humanoid robots are expected to gradually become as widespread as "smart home appliances."
