The Chinese historical drama 'He Butong Zhoudu,' starring Tan Jianci (檀健次) and Lu Yuxiao (盧昱曉), recently released its first trailer.

'He Butong Zhoudu,' which began filming in January, is a highly anticipated work with its wrap-up reported to be in mid-June. 'He Butong Zhoudu' is an adaptation of a novel of the same name, set in a turbulent era as a dynasty heads towards collapse. The protagonists are Xie Queshan (Tan Jianci), who bears the stigma of a 'rebellious general,' and the female bandit Nanyi (Lu Yuxiao). The two, probing each other while harboring their own intentions, overcome numerous life-and-death crises together. At the end of May, it also became news that Tan Jianci was involved in a horse-riding accident during filming.
