The Giant Panda National Park Sichuan Wolong Area recently released footage capturing the outdoor activities of the world's only confirmed wild white panda over the past 3 years.

The approximately 3 years of footage from 2024 to 2026 was filmed in the primeval forest of the Wolong Area of Giant Panda National Park at an altitude of 2,450 to 2,670 meters. The high-definition images clearly capture the white panda appearing in various locations such as snowfields, dense forests, and bamboo groves. The white panda moves alone, its footsteps are steady, and it is calm. It occasionally stops to eat food or walks slowly to patrol its territory.

This is not the first time this white panda has appeared. The Sichuan Wolong National Nature Reserve Administration first released photos of this white panda on May 25, 2019. Compared to that time when it was still in its juvenile stage, this panda, which has fully grown, has a solid physique, moves freely, and its adaptability and survival status in the wild are good.

Can the panda's age also be determined through the footage? The person in charge of the white panda protection research project at the Sichuan Wolong Nature Reserve stated, "This white panda has a sturdy build, and the fur on its four legs turned a light golden-brown after it became an adult.
