Chinese actor Wang Hedi (王鶴棣)'s starring xianxia drama "Xian Yu Fei Sheng" released its first official trailer on the 28th. The setting of agriculture x immortal cultivation, which overturns the conventions of traditional xianxia works, has generated buzz, and expectations are rapidly rising for it as a representative work of "new-style xianxia."

The series is based on the popular novel of the same name by author Zhong Guan An Du (重関暗度), and tells the story of Song Qianji (Wang Hedi), a former king of the immortal realm, who, after reincarnation, distances himself from fierce competition and leads a relaxed agricultural life.

The first trailer also generated a big response due to Wang Hedi's contrasting visuals. During the day, he wears coarse cloth attire and exudes a languid aura, while at night, he is clad in blood-stained, dark-toned clothing, radiating a sharp, domineering presence. Drama fans have expressed high expectations for his portrayal of these contrasting charms.

Additionally, highlights include costume designs incorporating agricultural culture, the magnificent natural beauty from the Xinjiang location shoot, and the oriental aesthetic of "Green Mountains and Clear Waters" (緑水青山) inspired by the 24 solar terms.

It is scheduled to be simultaneously broadcast and streamed on Hunan Satellite TV and Mango TV this summer, and if the quality of the trailer can be maintained in the main series, expectations are high that it will create a new trend in xianxia dramas.
