Since the beginning of this year, the aluminum processing industry has seen strong performance in both production and sales. In Sichuan Province and elsewhere, orders for products such as aluminum plates, aluminum strips, aluminum foil materials, and aluminum wire rods have been pouring in one after another, and the production sites of aluminum processing companies are busy and vibrant.

Sichuan Guangyuan Wanshun Zhongji Aluminum Industry primarily produces aluminum foil materials for new energy batteries and double-zero foil for food packaging. According to Wu Hexing, Executive Deputy General Manager, the company achieved 42.3% of its annual profit target in the first quarter (January-March). To meet orders for the coming months, it is currently operating at full capacity, with equipment utilization reaching nearly 90%, and has achieved its overall project investment target.

Orders for aluminum processing companies producing wire rods and pipe materials are also increasing. Wu Jiajia, General Manager of Sichuan Jiuda New Materials, was busy giving instructions to handle orders on the electrical round aluminum rod production line. General Manager Wu stated, "Orders are particularly high this year. Products produced daily are transported by truck on the same day. Inventory is almost at zero."

According to industry insiders, tensions in the Middle East have increased uncertainty in the global aluminum industrial chain, leading to production cuts and supply shortages at some overseas aluminum factories. Meanwhile, China's aluminum industrial chain has shown extremely high resilience and stability, effectively responding to orders that have shifted from overseas. Data shows that China's exports of unworked and unwrought aluminum and aluminum materials from January to April increased by 8.9% year-on-year to 2.053 million tons.
