Following the announcement of financial results for the first half of this year by his agency, Chinese actor Ding Yuxi (丁禹兮)'s high earning power has become a hot topic.

According to reports, the total revenue for the first half of 2026 for Light Media, the Chinese entertainment agency to which Ding Yuxi belongs, was 324 million yuan (approximately 7.7 billion yen). Although the figures decreased compared to the same period last year, it was revealed that sales from the management business of affiliated actor Ding Yuxi increased by 35.58% year-on-year, reaching 190 million yuan (approximately 4.5 billion yen). In a simple comparison, this scale exceeds half of the company's total revenue, indicating that Ding Yuxi is indeed the top earner.

This year, Ding Yuxi's starring dramas "Nanbu Dang'an" and "Hua Kai Jin Xiu" are performing well, and he is currently filming "Ai Zai Wujinxia," a modern romantic drama in which he partners with actress Meng Ziyi (孟子義). Even amidst concerns about the cooling of China's film and drama industry, he has had an uninterrupted flow of projects and is building a steady career.

Against the backdrop of rising popularity and commercial value, this spring Light Media and Ding Yuxi jointly established "Beijing Xiaoxixixi Creative Technology Co., Ltd.," and also established another company under its umbrella. As a result, he is believed to have stepped up from the traditional position of an affiliated talent to a partner involved in the business.

There are also observations that Ding Yuxi, who debuted in '17, might have his management contract expire in '27. Amidst these circumstances, regarding the establishment of this new company, the view is emerging that this is a move by Light Media to build a deeper cooperative relationship, looking towards continuing its contract with Ding Yuxi.
